The Bible

​      We believe the Bible was written by men inspired by God and has no error.

 

God

    God is eternal.  He is creator and sustainer of the universe.  He exists in three persons:  The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit

 

Jesus

    Jesus is the Son of God.  He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on a cross for the sins of the world.   He rose again after three days.  He is the only way to salvation.

 

The Holy Spirit

    The Holy Spirit is equal with the Son and the Father as God.  The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and points us to God through the Son.

 

Man

    Mankind was created by God.  We are all sinners in need of salvation.

 

Salvation

    Salvation is a free gift from God.  We are saved by belief in Jesus Christ alone.

 

The Church

    The church is the Body of Christ.  We exist to reach people for Jesus, to train people to live as Jesus taught,  to connect people into a local church body, to help them to discover purpose in their lives with Christ, and to worship God.

 

Baptism

    We believe baptism is by total immersion.  Baptism does not provide salvation.  It is a step of faith, in a belivers life, to show that Christ lives and reigns in their life.

 

The Lord's Supper

    We believe that the bread represents the body of Jesus.  The juice represent His life's blood given free for us.  Partaking of The Lord's Supper does not provide salvation.  It is a time of rememberance, in our lives, of the price that was paid for our freedom of sin.
